The data describes the total installed capacity of electricity storage facilities in Finland. The data includes estimates for all electricity storage facilities with a capacity of over 1 MW that are licensed to operate in the electricity market. The capacity data used describes the technical capacity of the electricity storage facility and does not take into account any capacity restrictions arising from agreements. The capacity is calculated from the electricity storage facilities added to the network model, most of which are added before production begins. The data includes electricity storage facilities that will be put into production within approximately one month. The capacity connected to the distribution network depends on the documentation provided by the distribution network companies, which also prevents the provision of accurate figures.
